Job Description Summary
Within the Grid Solutions team, Product+ aims to bridge the gap between customer requirements and GE Vernova factory standard scope for Power Transmission products.
The Product+ Tendering Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process for Power Transmission projects. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, preparing and submitting competitive bids, and following up on proposal outcomes. It supports sales growth by developing effective costing and pricing strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring bids align with customer requirements and company standards. The specialist also coordinates with GE Vernova factories and key stakeholders to deliver accurate, compliant, and value-added proposals

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of a bid, from identifying new opportunities to submitting a final proposal and following up on the outcome, for Product projects.
- Participate on GO/NO GO decisions with the Tendering Manager according to the applicable process and develop evidence (documented results).
- Prepare of Offer Costing, Tender Documents, Risk Analysis in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and Project Margin estimates in conjunction with the Tendering Manager.
- Participating in the tender approval process according to GE grid Solutions Rules and Procedures
- Ensuring that all bids are submitted on time and are commercially and technically compliant meet customer expectations and limit the risks to GEV according to GEV rules and procedures.
- Prepare "as sold" estimates.
- Lead the hand off process of sold projects to Project Managers.
- Support project execution for clarifications and any additional scope (change order) work.
- Maintain standardized proposal text and formatting while developing and suggesting tools/processes for improved execution of the function and to ensure best practices.
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement related to the proposal development process.
- Develop or suggest tools/ and processes for improved execution of the Tender department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university
- Proven experience as Tendering Manager or Project Manager within the high-voltage industry.
- Experience of electrical transmission and distribution industry.
- Spanish or Italian fluent. English fluent (minimum C1)
- Knowledge of Gas Insulated Substations, Power Transformers, and the other Power transmission products.
