Essential Responsibilities

You will have demonstrable experience in the Electric Distribution Utility sector that excels in translating the complex into impactful solutions through 'day in the life' storytelling. In this role you will be formulating solutions by:

  • Establishing a deep understanding of the GridOS Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) and how it will provide business and operational benefits for our customers and prospects.
  • Establishing a deep understanding of the adjacent solutions to the GridOS ADMS in the portfolio - for example Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMs) for our customers and prospects across our region.
  • Establishing a deep understanding of GridOS foundation technologies to help customers on the GridOS transition.
  • Capability to translate electrical market standards and regulations and map to the GridOS ADMS product offering, configuring the GridOS ADMS solutions to demonstrate relevant user stories to specific market segments (initially tier 2 operators and Municipalites, Stadwerke and CoOps).
  • Become the 'Trusted Advisor' with our customers technologists and internal GE Grid Engineering and Product Management teams.
  • Create and validate our technical proposals to ensure it aligns with our customers' functional expectations and requirements.
  • Enthusiastically present GE Vernova GridOS solutions at sales forums, industry events, and conferences to increase awareness and drive demand for our solutions
  • Interface with the GridOS ADMS and DERMs pre-sales teams globally, and build a community to build best practice with our evolving solutions.
  • Participate in customer meetings, carry out product demonstrations and support onsite Proof of concept to position GE Vernova's GridOS ADMS solutions during the sales lifecycle

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience in data governance, data quality, and metadata management, ability to evangelize the importance & value of data products
  • Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure, data modeling, ETL pipelines, APIs, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Second european language is preferred - i.e. German
