Job Description Summary
Team Leader (Electrical) to support the reliability, availability, and safe operation of our Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP). The successful candidate will lead the electrical maintenance team, oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis of critical equipment failures, and play a key role in optimizing plant performance and long-term asset reliability. This position is based in Sahiwal.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Strategy & Reliability: Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for all critical plant equipment, instrumentation, and components. Develop and optimize Preventive (PM) and Predictive (PdM) maintenance plans based on Risk Priority Numbers (RPN) and OEM guidelines.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Supervise maintenance personnel, providing technical guidance and mentorship. Coordinate cross-functional activities with Operations and external departments to ensure seamless electrical maintenance execution.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor and inspect completed work to ensure all tasks adhere to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Lead troubleshooting efforts by leveraging in-depth knowledge of plant processes, control systems, and electrical infrastructure.
- Root Cause Analysis: Lead and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment trips or failures, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Outage Management: Support the Maintenance Manager in planning and executing scheduled outages. Ensure all work adheres to the annual maintenance plan.
- Technical Training: Deliver training programs for subordinates regarding plant processes, protection relay schemes, and standard maintenance procedures.
- Work Order Management: Manage the full lifecycle of work orders within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring detailed documentation and accurate equipment history logging.
- Procurement & Inventory: Assess spare parts requirements, generate purchase requisitions, and evaluate technical quotations for alignment with plant specifications. Coordinate with Procurement for inventory replenishment.
- EHS & Compliance: Maintain full compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and legislative requirements. Actively support the EHS team in site audits, risk assessments, and the promotion of a "Safety First" culture, including mandatory pre-use inspections of all tools and PPE.
- General: Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from a university accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Generator and Transformer protection systems, excitation systems, relay testing, and grid protection schemes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English.
