Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Product Owner with a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in power system network applications (e.g., load flow, contingency analysis, state estimation, optimal power flow). The ideal candidate will drive product vision, strategy, and execution for advanced grid software solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features that support transmission system operators globally.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Own and drive the product roadmap for network applications within the grid software suite.
  • Translate customer needs and market trends into clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UI/UX, QA, and business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver features.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product demos across multiple scrum teams.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory standards, customer expectations, and technical feasibility.
  • Continuously evaluate product performance and user feedback to guide iterative improvements.
  • Prioritizes continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
  • Demonstrates strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Engages frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.
  • Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.
  • Partners with Development Leadership/Service Owners to ensure healthy development process.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Methodology.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or Power Systems.
  • 13+ Experience in Power Systems background.
