What You'll Do:
- Utilize an in-depth knowledge, analytical thinking and technical experience to execute daily activities to support manufacturing processes.
- Use your technical skills, innovation and knowledge to develop new manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate in a team environment to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work to implement solutions for improved safety, quality, delivery and lower costs.
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Take ownership of assigned areas of responsibility and build a rapport with the Operations and Leadership teams as a problem solver.
- Establish and author work instructions for area(s) of responsibility. Maintain existing work instructions to assure documents are maintained per established operating procedures.
- Maintain general knowledge of industry best practices and present project ideas on how new technology could benefit the business.
- Assist the procurement team with new equipment purchases.
- Attend daily stand-up meetings on the manufacturing shop floor and help maintain the daily production pulse for the Operations teams.
- This job includes working in an office environment along with working in a manufacturing shop floor environment as needed.
- Interact with all levels within the organization to inform team members of any potential risk(s) that may need support.
Required Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience required
- Technical Proficiency:
- Mechanical aptitude, GD&T knowledge, Lean principles, advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with fabricated assemblies.
- Flexibility: Job is 1st shift with flexible work hours; job may require more than 40 hours per week to support business needs.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Desired Characteristics
- Proven technical experience working in a manufacturing environment in a role supporting process development.
- Strong knowledge of process engineering principles including lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies.
- Experience with fabricated assemblies utilizing welding and vacuum brazing technology.
- Experience with liquid and air flow testing of fabricated assemblies.
- Efficient time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Experience with fixtures and tooling and the ability to work with Tool Designers to effectively communicate the need for new tooling from concept to final completion.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and implement corrective action solutions into a manufacturing process.
- Ability to document, plan, and execute on assignments.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong computer skills

Relocation Assistance Provided: No
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,700.00 and $152,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
