Sr Staff Technical Product Manager - Data Analytics
Job Description Summary
The Product Manager for Material Management Analytics, MOS Application and other significant GSC domain analytics is responsible for defining, owning, and delivering digital analytics product strategy and execution for material management, other significant and operational analytics solutions within Gas Power. This role combines product management, business process understanding, application ownership, and cross-functional delivery leadership to ensure that analytics products and MOS applications deliver measurable business value.
The role will act as the key link between functional executive stakeholders, digital technology teams, analytics operations, supply chain organization, and end users to define requirements, prioritize needs, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and drive adoption, performance, and continuous improvement of material management and other GSC domain analytics products.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Overall experience of 8-15 years in the Product Management experience.
- Serve as IT application owner for the MOS application, and analytics product manager for material management (MM) and logistics (LGST) analytics.
- Own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for MM and LGST Analytics, and MOS application aligned with Gas Power business priorities.
- Demonstrates excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape.
- Collaborates with UX in design decisions. Conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas.
- Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure partnership with stakeholders, within single or across multiple sub-businesses, in logistics, material management, fulfillment, sourcing, operations, and Digital Technology value streams to identify business needs, define requirements with clear business benefits, and translate them into actionable product features (SQDCC, productivity etc), acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
- Demonstrates strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
- Partner with analytics operations leader, and data organization, to align and suggest process improvements in ops and program execution.
- Conduct rhythmic cadences for prioritization of requirements, enhancements, defects, and releases in partnership with functional, governance, and technical teams to ensure timely and effective delivery using agile or hybrid delivery methods.
- Seek and partner to ideate opportunities to automate manual process to improve lineage of execution and productivity.
- Establish and monitor product and application performance metrics, user feedback, and support trends to identify improvement opportunities and guide continuous enhancement.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise requirements for data quality, cybersecurity, controls, compliance, and application governance.
- Support simplification, standardization, and operational rigor across logistics and material management digital tools and processes, and problem-solving, and process optimization workshop.
- Drive measurable business impact through scalable, user-focused digital solutions that improve decision-making, process effectiveness, and operational performance.
- Define the long-term vision, roadmap, and use cases for AI-driven initiatives that align with business goals. Define data requirements and metadata, ensure data quality, manage labeling, and oversee pipelines that keep models learning.
- Lead the end-to-end AI product strategy and lifecycle for Material Management and Logistics, in consensus with AI leader for GSC DT organization, by defining the long-term vision, roadmap, and high-value use cases aligned to business goals. Establish data requirements and metadata standards, ensure data quality, manage labeling processes, and oversee data pipelines that enable continuous model learning.
- Drive AI initiatives from ideation and data acquisition through model training, deployment, performance monitoring, and ongoing optimization, while incorporating market benchmarks to ensure competitiveness and impact.

Education Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Data Management, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics
- A minimum of 6 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product
Desired Characteristics
Technical Expertise:
- Experience working in Agile / SAFe methodology
- Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, DBR, Postgres, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms
- Working knowledge of Big Data programming environments and Competency in major analytics software packages and programming environments (AWS Cloud Computing Services, Python/Spark, Java etc)
- Expert proficiency in tools like ADO, SmartSheet, Miro, Excel, etc.
- Phenomenal communication and presentation skills w/ ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Robust understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related technologies
Business Acumen
- Demonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
- Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternative technologies and approaches to solving problems
- Experience in Gas Power supply chain environment and application owner or product owner for operational or analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with ERP, supply chain systems, warehouse/logistics tools, and reporting platforms
- Knowledge of operational management systems, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong understanding of data governance, master data, meta data, and integration between transactional and analytics systems.
- Lead or participate in problem solving workshops for process or productivity improvements
- Has the ability to propose, analyze impact and recommend appropriate technical solutions
- Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the product development team
- Balances value propositions from competing stakeholders
- Demonstrates knowledge of technologies in the market to actively participate in buy vs build recommendations, drive market timing decisions and scope of MVPs
Leadership:
- Change oriented - actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
- Ability to communicate analytical results in forms that resonate with the business collaborators, highlighting actionable insights
- Collaborate with GE Vernova Data Organization, Gas Power Analytics Operations, various business stakeholders in - supply chain, fulfillment, sourcing value streams, other IT/DT teams , and external partner teams to establish high performing inclusive team for proactive seamless product development, enhancement, and operations.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and end users to understand pain points and align product strategy with operational priorities.
- Effectively balances multiple, different and/or competing objectives
- Able to effectively direct and mentor team members with continuously improvement mindset.
- Own the communication with leadership and stakeholders about roadmap, risks, milestones, adoption, and value realization.
- PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications
Governance, Risk, and Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with enterprise digital, cybersecurity, data governance, and audit requirements - SOX as applicable.
- Support business continuity, access controls, application documentation, and operational support processes.
- Establish and maintain product governance mechanisms, including prioritization forums, release reviews, and KPI tracking.
- Drive standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement of LGST and MM Analytics, and MOS application.
