Sr Product Owner - NMS
Job Description Summary
As a CIC NMS Product Owner, you serve as the technical backbone of our product offering. You report directly to the Product Manager and are responsible for turning product vision and business strategy into reality. You bridge the gap between market needs and R&D execution by collecting business requirements, defining use cases, and translating them into precise technical specifications. Beyond product definition, you serve as a technical expert who supports the Product Manager in customer-facing activities, technical demonstrations, and the global bid process (RFI/RFP), ensuring that our solutions meet both customer expectations and technical requirements.
Job Description
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Requirements Translation: Translate high-level business requirements and market opportunities from the Product Manager into actionable technical requirements, detailed user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Technical Advocacy & Support:
- Act as a technical subject matter expert in customer meetings and technical demonstrations to showcase product value and functionality.
- Partner with regional teams to provide technical expertise during the RFI/RFP process, ensuring accurate and competitive technical responses.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to support escalated technical customer inquiries, providing insight into product behavior and use cases.
- Industry Presence: Represent the CIC portfolio at industry conferences and technical forums, acting as a brand ambassador and gathering market feedback to inform future requirements.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure the roadmap aligns with real-world application and integration needs.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to clarify requirements during the development cycle, ensuring that deliverables match the defined use cases and integration notes.
- Provide feedback to the Product Manager based on field insights and customer interactions.
