Job Description Summary
GE Vernova is seeking sharp, personable, highly organized Software Engineering Specialist who are looking for the opportunity to grow their technical and professional skills while building a career with unlimited potential. Software Engineering Specialist will learn from the best in the industry and work on substantial projects with real world implications, getting hands-on experience with digital technologies in DT Enterprise Apps team. Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Contribute towards analysis, design, development, unit test and deployment of Enterprise Apps such as Salesforce, CPQ, OIC, ERP and Custom Applications.
- Work on user stories, minor/major enhancements in partnership with business and product owners.
- Work on production incident debugging, analysis, bug fixes and deployment.
- Build custom applications using AI Agents with adherence to GE VERNOVA's policies and guidelines.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent work/technical experience.
- 6 + months of experience as a Software Developer
- Must commit to working full time (40 hrs/wk)
- Graduating in 2026 and available to pursue a full time role on immediate basis
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be willing to work out of an office located in Hyderabad.
- Legal authorization to work in India is required.
Desired Characteristics:
- Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom.
- A strong commitment to a career in technology and passion/aptitude for software engineering.
- Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in software industry standards and development tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly.
- Demonstrated creative problem solving and proactive learning.
