Job Description Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create supply for all demand signals
  • Perform purchase order follow up with suppliers to confirm expected dates
  • Coordinate expedite efforts for material shortages
  • Monitor material ordering data for efficiency
  • Key team member in training and implementation of new ERP capability
  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborate with teams cross functionally (ie sourcing, quality, warehousing, etc)
  • A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. Develops strong supplier relationships and serves as the interface between the supplier and GEV.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college plus a minimum of 5-years relevant experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, Procurement and /or similar functions

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

• Established project management skills

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,400.00 and $108,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: ineligible.
