Do you want to lead operational excellence and drive commercial growth for GE Vernova's Power Conversion business in the UK?

GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Service Manager for our Industry and Energy Segment to join our Power Conversion team based in Rugby, UK.

Let's Talk about the Role

The Service Manager will provide strong operational, commercial, and customer leadership across our service activities to ensure high standards of execution.

You will champion a positive customer experience, driving financial performance and growth while fostering a culture of safety and integrity. You will lead cross-functional efforts to meet service targets, build trusted relationships with our partners, and provide coaching and development for your team, ensuring we deliver reliable and sustainable solutions to our customers.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Driving strong financial performance, including revenue, margin, and cash management through accurate forecasting.
  • Leading service account performance to ensure safe, high-quality, and reliable delivery for every customer.
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to foster seamless collaboration.
  • Creating growth strategies by working alongside sales leaders to identify opportunities and expand our market presence.
  • Improving operational efficiency by championing process excellence, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Developing your team through effective leadership, coaching, and support to foster a high-performing and inclusive environment.

Special Role Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to travel as required.
  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.

You should be an execution-driven and entrepreneurial leader, with:

  • The ability to manage complex service portfolios and drive commercial profitability in a fast-paced environment.
  • The capability to influence stakeholders and build robust, trust-based relationships across all levels of the business.
  • An understanding of financial analysis and its application to operational success.
  • An expertise in leading teams, coaching talent, and fostering a culture of integrity and safety.
  • A keen interest in identifying market trends to seize new service growth opportunities.

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

This is a permanent position based in our Rugby office. We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our office and from home.
