Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description Summary

Steigern der Qualität für zugewiesene Lieferanten, einschließlich der Implementierung eines Qualitätsplans. Auswahl von Lieferanten durch Qualifizierungsprozesse. Verantwortung für Lieferantenergebnisse, Verbesserungen mithilfe von Lieferanten-Scorecards. Verantwortung für Lieferantenaudits, Sicherstellen der Compliance und Umsetzung von Verbesserungsplänen bei Bedarf. Beeinträchtigt die Fähigkeit des Teams, Service, Qualität und Aktualität der Ziele zu erreichen.Die Arbeit unterliegt Zielen der Funktionsrichtlinie.Verantwortlich für die regelmäßige Beratung des Managements im Fachbereich und/oder im Geschäft.Hat eine unterstützende Rolle bei der Entscheidungsfindung zu wichtigen Themen.Um die gewünschten Ergebnisse zu erzielen, ist ein hohes Maß an bewertendem Urteilsvermögen erforderlich.

• Manage supplier development including assisting key suppliers towards QA. Support suppliers in reaching optimum quality and industrial standards of excellence in generators.
• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise within their discipline. May require strong commercial awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy within own area, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
• May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
• Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Work is subject to functional policy objectives. Regularly advises management in the function and/or in the business. Has a supportive role in decision making about important subjects. High levels of evaluative judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.
• Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent
• Significant experience in Engineering or Supplier Quality or Manufacturing or relevant experience
• Good technical knowledge of Generators and quality
• Working knowledge in Quality / Risk Assessment / RCA /Qualification / Commodity Assessment / Non - Conformance
• Excellent command of English in both written and verbal communication

• Ability to understand and improve complex processes in a cross-functional environment.
• Financial acumen, knowledge of pricing, costing and product accounting.
• Ability to work effectively across functions.
• Fluency in German is a plus
• Excellent written/oral communication in English and interpersonal skills, customer focused, enthusiastic.
• Outstanding interpersonal, Strong communication skills, capable of influencing and driving regional counterparts.
• Willingness and ability to travel >40% of the time
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs.
