Senior SAP Operations Specialist

Job Description Summary

Serve as the link between factory operations, the Central Operations Team, and the central SAP & Digital Technology (DT) organization. Ensure that all digital solutions and processes reflect real manufacturing needs and are fully integrated with SAP as the single source of truth for operational data and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent factories operations in all IT and SAP-related initiatives.
• Translate operational needs (warehouse, production, planning, logistics & quality) into business requirements.
• Assess existing operational systems; where current tools fail to meet operational needs, propose improvements or better alternatives.
• Ensure new digital tools are based on SAP master and transactional data; challenge solutions that duplicate or deviate from SAP.
• Act as the operational authority on SAP-related master data, transactions, and integration points.
• Identify and drive improvements in process efficiency and data integrity within SAP.
• Maintain close collaboration with production, planning, supply chain, and IT stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT to implement, test, and deploy SAP-based and related digital tools, ensuring proper documentation and user readiness through clear training materials and coordinated end-user training sessions.

• Strong Experience in manufacturing, planning, warehouse operations or/and quality.
• Strong Functional knowledge of SAP MM, PP, WM, FI & QM (transactions, data flows, integration) in one or more of these areas/modules.
• Ability to challenge and validate digital solutions based on SAP logic and data.
• Experience supporting or deploying SAP-based tools in operational environments.
• Proven ability to work closely with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and represent factory or regional operational needs in cross-functional digital and SAP projects.
• Must be able to travel to factories as required.
• Lean mindset with a focus on process efficiency, waste elimination, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey technical topics in simple operational terms; proficiency in English and local language as required.

• Significant proven experience in production, logistics, planning or warehouse environment.
• Experience as SAP key user, super user, or process expert.
