Senior Manager - Technical Product Management

Job Description Summary

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end Workday projects, which includes requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Oversee the day-to-day operations, execution of the production schedules, monitoring of application performance, managing the release cycles, coordinating testing activity, and ensuring adherence to all ISO, SOD, and SoX controls and standards. Supervise and guide a team of Workday analysts and consultants who manage operations. Orchestrate the IT services supporting the relationship with our extended partners, critical HR document management, service cloud, development and strategy surrounding our HR portals, time and attendance integrations and overall regional support. Oversee change management processes, develop product roadmap and plan delivery of backlogs. Monitor system performance and compliance. Assist in developing standard work, best practices and training functional partners. Work with customers/stakeholders to prioritize needs. Lead communication efforts during critical support events and facilitate post-event reviews to identify areas for improvement. Enhance internal support processes to improve customer experience. Apply best practices and use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions. Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.

Job Description

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related. Four (4) years of experience in software application architecture and development. Work experience to include: Four (4) years of experience in managing end-to-end operational support with SaaS solutions; Four (4) year of experience in Oracle HR, Workday, or IBM Kenexa; Designing business processes and converting business requirements into effective technical solutions; Supporting internal and external audits and compliance checks for data and processes, including SOX and GDPR compliance; Jira, and Service Cloud; Experience with at least one (1) of the following platforms: PeopleSoft, SAP, or Oracle. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. 100% remote position reporting to GE Vernova in Cambridge, MA. Candidate may live anywhere in the continental U.S.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $179,171-$199,900 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 10% variable incentive compensation. Available health and welfare benefits include healthcare, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage; savings account options (such as a Health Care Flexible Savings Account, Health Reimbursement Account, Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Account, and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account); and an employee assistance program.
