Senior ITR Leader West Region
Job Description Summary
As a member of the Steam Power Fossil West ITR team, you will be an active contributor to the Fossil market strategy working with your peers (Commercial Operation, repairs and parts). This role will require you to manage Steam/Generator customer relationship for the accounts in Western US, while delivering orders, commitments, sales, cash and margin Op Plans for the accounts.
Success in this role looks like:
Establish yourself as a subject matter expert by demonstrating a level of product and service expertise required to discuss customer requirements/needs and develop a solutions/offering that will meet their needs. Also developing and presenting an offering for the customer, without being approached by the customer, that would improve/impact their business positively.
You will be an indispensable ITR Manager, with excellent interpersonal skills, strategic negotiation competences and excellent deal management capabilities. As well, you will be responsible for the P&L of the assigned portfolio with responsibilities for project estimating, contract negotiation, project execution, billing/collection and project closeout.

Who You Are:
• You are someone who brings strong field engineering, technical direction and/or outage management knowledge on steam turbine and generators with high energy, self-starter and team player
• You have experience with Fossil GE and Alstom rotating products and services
• You have advanced experience with relationship building and interaction at multiple levels of the customer organization.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Overall
- Act as the single point of contact to the customer.
- Maintain on-going customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for customer portfolio P&L and growth
- Smaller customer portfolio allowing individual to support opportunity cost development and support project pre-planning and mobilization throughout the West region portfolio.
Services:
- Responsible for outage scope planning and execution, including closeout oversight and event parts and repairs planning
- Act as the interface with various internal stakeholders such as engineering, finance, sourcing, affiliates, parts, and repairs.
- Responsible for establishing work scope, pricing, and driving emergent work for major repair projects
- Oversee transactional (TX), Extra Work, and Job Cost Estimator (JCE) proposals for assigned customers using Outage Assistant software.
- Negotiate applicable concessions as they arise balancing maximum benefits/satisfaction for the customer with minimal acceptable financial impact to GE
- Responsible for driving fulfillment 5 excellence including: EHS, Quality, Schedule, Productivity and Cost at assigned customer sites.
- Coordinate with Inventory Management Leaders, Repair Managers, Parts Fulfillment Leaders, and engineering to enhance outage planning process thus expanding outage scopes.
- Drive and be advocate for outage Daily Management
Sales:
- Support the maintenance of accurate and current project and opportunity information in NEX
- Develop long term strategic plans by customer to drive penetration and growth
- Continuously monitor and drive the development of the opportunity pipeline for regional opportunities
- Drive Orders, Sales, Cash and Contribution Margin (CM) growth
- Provide leadership through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies that capitalize on GE's competitive strengths to serve the customer's needs while meeting GE's business goals.
- Interface with Product Management, Commercial Operations, Customer Fulfillment Manager (CFM), Parts Fulfillment Leaders, Project Managers and other functional groups as required as part of an integrated Customer Team to grow the GE Power Services Rotating Equipment NAM business with Customers in assigned customer base.
- Drive an orders pipeline on complex, multi-offering transactions that may include Parts, Repairs, Outage Services, Performance Upgrades and long-term Service Agreements (SA).
- Lead deal strategy development and reviews as necessary with Commercial Operations Team, and other functional groups as required
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, customer strategy / profile / requirements including outage schedules and competitor actions; share internally and use market knowledge to drive sales opportunities with customers.
- Provide demand forecasting and pacing support to Sales Operations / Finance.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer facing role in power generation industry or similar industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with, and knowledge of GE Steam Turbines and Generator technology products and services.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $119,600.00 and $199,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
