Job Description Summary

As Senior ITO Scheduler you will report to Gas Power ITO Scheduling Leader and you will be responsible for Scheduling efforts on ITO deals for large complex project and work on strategic & continuous improvement initiatives. This will include supporting the commercial and tendering teams on the tendering phase as well as interacting with different functions and complex project team organizations. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for development of various work instruction and processes related to ITO scheduling.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop tender schedules for Turn-key (self-implemented, Turnkey with Partner) and ITO Schedule analysis for EO/ EEP projects.
  • Work with Commercial team & relevant functions to optimize schedule while managing key risks. Work closely with Commercial team to integrate inputs from Product Lines.
  • Work closely with tender finance teams and Commercial teams to define Payment milestones and prepare cash flows for Partner's scope.
  • Define strategies with ITO teams for best optimised schedules and prepare mitigation action plans
  • Lead discussions on scheduling during Risk/Gate reviews
  • Support ITO teams during clarification and negotiation phase with Customer's and EPC's.
  • Ensure proper handover of tender schedules to OTR regional/Pole teams
  • Develops the MTS as the integrated EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project control schedule, based on contract scope requirements, in cooperation with all involved scope owner parties, to establish optimal work sequences
  • Build & maintain ITO scheduling project templates by plant configuration.
  • Work with relevant functions to maintain durations up to date. Build a registry of historical lead times & lesson learned.
  • Support project schedulers for project MTS development for Turn-key self-implemented & Turnkey with Partner projects, based on contract scope requirements, in co-operation with all involved scope owner parties, to establish optimal work sequences.
  • Support key NPI (New Product Introduction) programs and develop optimized schedules together with Product Leadership & Engineering.
  • Prepare and update ITO scheduling processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function within an EPC environment using Planning/Scheduling tools and programs
  • Experience of project, program and portfolio management tools
  • Extensive experience in a Project Controls (ITO scheduling) function within an EPC environment,
  • Prior experience Tendering/ITO process for Combined cycle projects
  • Knowledge of power plant principles and work processes in an engineering, procurement, and construction environment
  • Experience MS Projects, MS office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to lead large complex project teams as well as to simplify complex messages
  • Resilient and ability to work under pressure
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with Oracle Primavera P6
  • site execution exposure in EPC Power /Energy projects
  • Risks and Opportunities Identification, follow up and develop mitigation action plans
  • Can understand Basic French /German language conversations
