Senior Facilities Sourcing Commodity Manager
Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for supporting and executing the strategic sourcing and category management activities for the GE Vernova Facilities category in the Americas. This role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to help deliver business outcomes across assigned spend areas through strong commercial execution, supplier management, and category expertise.
This role is responsible for Master Service Agreements, Supplier Management, Supplier Performance Monitoring, and execution of Category Strategy related to the Facilities category in the Americas. This also includes Archiving & Document Storage, EHS Services, Facilities Management - Offices and Factories, Office Supplies, Security, Signage & Accessories, and Uniforms.
This role will support strategic commodity management activities across these categories and partners with Business Unit Category Management teams to ensure a cohesive regional strategy, coordinating sourcing efforts and policy, and executing initiatives. This role will also partner with GE Vernova functional stakeholders in Business and Segment Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive total cost efficiency (TCE) reductions while delivering excellent service levels to the organization.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
• Development and execution of category strategies within the assigned category spend
• Lead corporate sourcing processes end-to-end for defined sourcing initiatives within the assigned category spend
• Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to execute sourcing initiatives and deliver service, quality, and cost objectives
• Advise management on ways to drive best practices, measure and track internal performance, monitor strategy implementation to ensure benefit realization, and drive value through supplier relationship management within the assigned category spend
• Manage Master Service Agreements and other commercial contracts to support business requirements, compliance, and service delivery within the assigned category spend
• Monitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators, and drive follow-up actions to support supplier accountability and continuous improvement within the assigned category spend
• Use category and spend analytics to identify sourcing opportunities, performance trends, and areas for cost and process improvement within the assigned category spend

• Apply sound judgment to resolve complex sourcing and supplier-related issues and provide recommendations to functional and business stakeholders
• Stay informed of industry trends, supply market conditions, and benchmark practices relevant to the assigned category spend
Qualifications/Requirements
• Significant experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience in category management, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation
• Strong experience within Facilities or related indirect spend categories
• Demonstrated ability to use judgment to solve complex problems, assess information, and provide sound business recommendations
• Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver sourcing and operational outcomes
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with significant experience in job family group/function), or equivalent experience / knowledge
Desired Characteristics
• MBA or Bachelor's degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience / knowledge
• Strong experience in Procurement processes
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Sourcing or Analytics experience in a multinational company
• Comfortable with a broad range of research tools and technologies, analytics, and financial analysis
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong project management skills
• Strong track record for implementing change and delivering results
• Ability to influence stakeholders, guide discussions, and build alignment across functional areas
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and supplier relationship management capability

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $125,000.00 and $208,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
