Job Description Summary
GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to lead global marketing strategy and execution for its Power & Energy Resources Software business, with a primary focus on accelerating growth of the Asset Performance Management (APM) software portfolio and support the Controls business. This leader will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives demand, strengthens market leadership, and positions GE Vernova's APM and Controls solutions as mission-critical platforms for reliability, efficiency, and decarbonization across the energy and industrial ecosystem. The role partners closely with Product Management, Commercial Sales, Digital, Customer Success, and Corporate Marketing teams to deliver measurable pipeline impact and long-term brand equity.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Own the global marketing strategy for GE Vernova's APM software portfolio, aligned to growth, revenue, and market expansion goals
- Translate business objectives into integrated marketing plans spanning positioning, messaging, demand generation, and thought leadership
- Define clear value propositions for diverse buyer personas, including executives, operations leaders, reliability engineers, and digital leaders
Growth & Demand Generation
- Lead marketing programs that drive qualified pipeline, bookings influence, and customer expansion
- Partner with Sales and Commercial Excellence teams to align campaigns with account-based strategies and regional priorities
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure marketing performance, ROI, and revenue impact

Product & Portfolio Marketing
- Serve as the marketing voice for the APM suite, shaping go-to-market strategy, launches, and lifecycle marketing
- Develop compelling narratives around industrial AI, predictive analytics, asset reliability, and energy transition outcomes
- Support competitive differentiation and analyst engagement
Brand, Content & Thought Leadership
- Elevate GE Vernova's leadership position in asset performance, reliability, and digital energy transformation
- Oversee creation of high-impact content including customer stories, executive thought leadership, industry reports, and event messaging
- Represent the business at key industry forums, conferences, and customer events
Customer & Market Insight
- Leverage customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy and messaging
- Partner with Customer Success to amplify value realization stories and drive advocacy
- Ensure marketing reflects customer outcomes across Power generation (renewables, grid, and industrial energy users), Oil & Gas (Upstream, Downstream) and Metals and Mining industries
Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global marketing team
- Operate as a trusted partner to Product, Sales, Customer Success and Executive Leadership
- Influence without authority in a complex, matrixed organization
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in B2B enterprise software, SaaS, or industrial technology
- Proven success driving growth for complex software portfolios with long sales cycles and multiple buyer personas
- Strong background in product marketing, demand generation, and go-to-market execution
- Experience partnering closely with global sales and product management organizations and senior executives
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and storytelling skills
Desired
- Experience in asset-intensive industries (energy, power generation, utilities, oil & gas, industrials)
- Familiarity with Asset Performance Management, Industrial AI, analytics, or digital twins
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience marketing solutions that support reliability, decarbonization, and operational excellence

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $149,100.00 and $248,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
