We are looking for an innovative, results-driven Senior Director of Data, AI & Automation to lead enterprise-wide strategy and execution in data architecture, AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation. You will partner across functions to automate processes and empower employees with smarter, faster, and more intelligent tools.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the strategy for data management, AI/ML, and automation initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams in developing scalable, innovative, and ethical AI solutions.
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on data-driven decision-making and emerging technologies.

Enterprise Data Strategy and Data Governance

  • Provide strategic oversight for data architecture, governance, quality, and lifecycle management to ensure robust and scalable data ecosystems.
  • Define and enforce enterprise-wide data standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to guarantee data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Champion the democratization of data by enabling modern data platforms and fostering a culture of self-service analytics across all business units.

AI & ML Solutions

  • Own and drive the enterprise AI strategy and roadmap, embedding AI across business processes, developer workflows, operational systems, and decision-support tools.
  • Lead the scaling of AI/ML capabilities to enhance products, services, and customer experiences.
  • Oversee development and deployment of predictive, recommendation, personalization, and optimization models, ensuring responsible AI practices such as bias mitigation, model explainability, and ethical data use.
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks, best practices, and scalable processes to guarantee AI security, compliance, and ethical standards in partnership with cybersecurity teams.
  • Champion AI culture-building initiatives, including hackathons, innovation sprints, and training programs to drive adoption and upskill teams.

Automation & Intelligent Workflows

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for robotic process automation (RPA), intelligent document processing, and cognitive automation to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and IT teams to design and implement streamlined workflows that reduce manual effort and drive productivity gains.
  • Lead the adoption and enablement of low-code/no-code platforms, empowering business users to accelerate automation initiatives and foster a culture of innovation.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of experts. Provide strategic oversight and drive team optimization and individual team member growth.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic partnerships.
  • Establish and foster a work culture at all levels that is positive, collaborative, respectful, innovative, dynamic, with high integrity, and capable of driving positive change over sustained periods of time.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in with significant experience.

For roles in USA:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data, AI/ML, or automation, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-level AI and data solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, AI/ML frameworks, and automation tools.

Desired Expertise:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline.
  • Certification in AI, Data Engineering, or Agile/Lean methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success applying AI/ML to optimize internal business processes and enhance employee productivity at enterprise scale.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), modern application development, APIs, and microservices with a strong focus on internal enablement.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks, data integration, and workflow automation in complex enterprise environments.

Additional Information

The base pay range for this position is 180,000-225,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 20% Variable Incentive Bonus. This posting is expected to close on October 31, 2025.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
