Senior Controllership Manager - Supply Chain

What impact you'll make?
This position is part of the GE Vernova Wind Supply Chain Controllership leadership team, primarily focused on Governance, Oversight and Reporting across the globe. This individual will be responsible for assessing and implementing internal controls and process improvement to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis over supply chain activities. This role will ensure global compliance with local statutory regulations, U.S. GAAP, controls and procedures. This senior level individual will have an in depth understanding of the business and function and how this role integrates with others within their discipline.
Job Description
What you'll do
- Lead and execute controls definition and quarterly quality reviews Supply Chain accounts, underlying and upstream processes, including Accounts Payable, Property Plant &Equipment, Intangible Assets and Inventory, and all subset accounts.
- Partner with sourcing, finance, operations and digital technology to reinforce controls, drive process improvements and increase automation.
- Maintain the currency and relevance of policies and accounting standard operating procedures in alignment with the evolving business landscape and dynamics.
- Design internal reviews and lead consolidation process to report balance sheet movements during Finance reviews with controllership teams (Financial Representation Package) enhancing the visibility of the same.
- Communicate within Wind Controllership and the business about controls, process design, outcomes and improvements.
- Provide guidance to Supply Chain team members. Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations. Utilize technical expertise and judgement to solve problems.
- Leverage technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. Use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
- Major experience in the Finance & Controllership Management preferably in supply chain
- Fluent English knowledge is essential
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Established project management skills

Additional Notes:
- Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary
- This is a hybrid role with three days remote and two days in the office.
