Senior Construction and Ops Support LNG

Job Description Summary
We are seeking an expert Site Construction Manager to lead field execution for our Electrical Balance of Plant (eBOP) to support our clients LNG projects. You will ensure that all construction activities are executed with rigorous attention to safety, technical accuracy, and the demanding quality standards inherent to the LNG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • LNG-Specific Safety Oversight: Work with Owners, General Contractors, and within GEV to support and lead safety practices during the construction phase of the project focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
  • Electrical Infrastructure Oversight: Manage the installation and commissioning of electrical balance of plant (BOP) equipment, ensuring seamless integration with power generation and distribution systems.
  • Technical Compliance: Ensure all mechanical, structural, and electrical work meets stringent project specifications and international codes (e.g., ASME, API, IEEE) for LNG and power facilities.
  • Stakeholder Integration: Interface with commissioning and startup teams to ensure a seamless "hand-off" from construction to the operational phase of the LNG plant.


Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of construction management experience, with at least 3 years specifically within LNG liquefaction or storage terminal projects.
  • Experience in the oil & gas/LNG sector
  • Demonstrated experience in the installation and management of Electrical Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment, including power transformers, Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and interconnecting substation facilities.
  • Proven track record of managing large, multidisciplinary crews on brownfield or greenfield LNG sites.
  • Solid understanding of P&IDs, piping specifications, electrical one-line diagrams, and complex instrumentation typical of LNG facilities.


Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with modular construction and stick-built integration.
  • Direct experience with LNG export terminal or regasification plant expansion projects.
  • Strong knowledge of international energy safety standards and permit-to-work systems for hazardous zones.


Location & Travel:

Project sites are located throughout the Gulf States, with current active sites in or around New Orleans, LA, and Lake Charles, LA. This role requires a rotational schedule of four weeks on-site followed by one week off. Including time allocated for required training, this position involves approximately 75% regional travel on long-term assignments.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $114,100.00 and $190,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
