Sales Specialist, Grid Automation China
Job Description Summary
Reporting hierarchically to the CEAP Commercial Leader. The Grid Automation Sales Specialist in China is responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and developing sales strategies in coordination with local channel partners, the growth team, tendering and operations teams.
In this role, the candidate will have opportunity to travel across the country and instrumental in developing the key customer approach, with which are accountable for Sales Strategy Definition and Implementation, developing Customer Intimacy, Business Development, and Order Intake, while ensuring the strict application of GEV's Ethic, Compliance, and processes.

Role and Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for grid automation products and solutions as well as monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed to meet objectives.
- Collect market information to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the grid automation sector in China.
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals and market conditions.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the grid automation market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utility companies, government agencies, and industry partners.
- Prepare and present competitive sales proposals and quotations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals meet customer requirements and comply with industry standards.
- Engage with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Address customer feedback and concerns promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with local regulations and company compliance policies.
- Generate regular sales reports and provide insights to senior management.
- Utilize CRM tool (SPEAK) to track sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree related to Electrical Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience in sales of Electrical Systems and Grid Automation
- Strong background in the Power Utilities sector or Industrial domain is essential to this role.
- Proven track record of closing large, multi-stakeholder deals in Grid automations business
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in matrix environments.
- Experience in managing both new customer acquisition and strategic account growth.
- Ability to draw on your excellent communication skills to negotiated order and stakeholder influence.
