Job Description Summary
Manage and develop the long-term strategic relationship with the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), maximizing commercial opportunities of Grid Automation, ensuring the fulfillment of GE Vernova's sales, profitability and technological positioning objectives, aligned with the operational, regulatory and modernization needs of CFE's electric grid.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management
- To be the focal point between GE Vernova and CFE for the Grid Automation portfolio.
- Develop and execute the CFE Account Plan (short, medium and long term).
- Build strong relationships with CFE 's key stakeholders: technical, commercial, operational, financial, and managerial.
- Understand the internal structure of CFE (Generation, Transmission, Distribution, CENACE, subsidiaries, etc.).
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, qualify and develop business opportunities (SCADA, ADMS, Substation Automation, Protection & Control, Digital Grid, etc.).
- Lead public bidding and commercial negotiation processes.
- Coordinate technical-commercial proposals in conjunction with engineering, legal, finance and operations.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales, margin, and cash targets.
Internal Management and Multidisciplinary Coordination
- Act as a liaison between CFE and internal teams: engineering, project management, supply chain, services and finance.
- Ensure the correct commercial-operational transfer (handover) once the projects have been awarded.
- Follow up on contractual execution, scope changes and commercial claims.
Strategy & Market
- To analyze the regulatory, political, and budgetary environment of the Mexican electricity sector.
- Monitor competition and trends in the network automation market.
- Propose technological positioning strategies aligned with CFE's modernization vision.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineering.
- Desirable: MBA or postgraduate degree in business, energy or project management.
Technical Knowledge
- • Substation Automation (IEC 61850).
- • SCADA / EMS / ADMS systems (at commercial level).
- • CFE processes and public procurement framework in Mexico.
- • Business models of projects and services.
Key Competencies
- Strategic thinking and results orientation.
- Negotiation skills and handling complex clients.
- Executive and technical communication.
- Transversal leadership (without direct authority).
- Management of multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- High integrity and compliance.
Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in B2B sales or key account management.
- Proven experience working with CFE or public entities in the electricity sector.
- Solid knowledge in Grid Automation, Substations, Protection and Control, SCADA or Digital Grid.
- Experience in public tenders, framework contracts and EPC/Turnkey projects (desirable).
