Sales Executive
Job Description Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving the growth of the Grid Automation business in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. The role focuses on developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders-specifically including CFE, private utilities, industrial clients, EPCs, and systems integrators-to promote and sell advanced solutions in protection, control, and communication technologies. The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing complex technical deals, ensuring high standards of technical alignment and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Achieve or exceed annual sales targets for Grid Automation solutions, including protection relays, substation control systems, and communication networks.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities and accounts, with a specific focus on expanding the footprint within CFE's infrastructure projects.

- Consultative Selling: Engage with technical decision-makers to provide value-based solutions tailored to specific grid reliability, automation, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, high-trust relationships with key stakeholders at CFE, independent utilities, EPCs, and engineering firms.
- CRM Excellence: Utilize Salesforce as the primary tool for lead management, pipeline forecasting, opportunity tracking, and activity reporting to ensure data-driven sales management.
- Technical Coordination: Collaborate with pre-sales, engineering, and product teams to prepare competitive, high-quality proposals and ensure technical feasibility regarding CFE technical standards and specifications.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor regulatory shifts and infrastructure plans in the Mexican and Central American power sectors to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience in sales of electrical equipment, automation, or protection/control systems.
- Deep, proven experience in the design, specification, or sales of protection and control systems for CFE substations.
- Demonstrated success navigating CFE procurement processes, bidding cycles, and technical requirements.
Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of protection schemes, substation automation, and communication protocols (e.g., IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus).
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is mandatory.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and contract closing skills.
