Job Description Summary
Drive Combustion and HGP technical excellence as the America's Region Technical Leader for the Lifecycle Engineering Repair team. You will be responsible for the technical success of our service centers, commanding all aspects of repair qualifications, NCR resolution and reduction, and Root Cause Analysis. As a key partner to the AMRT development teams in Greenville, Warsaw, and Singapore, you will lead the regional deployment of repair strategies and requirements for the GE Vernova Gas Turbine Fleet. Job Description
- Champion Technical Excellence: Serve as the lead technical authority for a team of engineers, driving high standards across all inspection and repair processes.
- Drive Continuous Innovation: Prioritize personal and team growth, fostering a culture of continuous learning and daily management strategies to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Accelerate Team Development: Mentor and develop team members within the organization and across interfacing groups to build a high-performing, versatile engineering talent pool leveraging GEV productivity tools like Amp2.0.
- Cultivate Organizational Culture: Actively model and communicate the AMRT culture, integrating it into the broader GEV landscape to build an organization rooted in coaching and professional trust.
- Identify and Deliver High-Impact Initiatives: Proactively seek out and lead engineering projects that offer significant value and technical advancement for the team.
- Influence Strategic Initiatives: Contribute expert insight to high-level strategies, including network, organizational, and business practice initiatives that extend beyond your immediate components.
- Ensure Engineering Rigor: Guide the team through precise design, analysis, and evaluation of projects, ensuring total alignment with engineering principles and business requirements.
- Partner on Design Evolution: Collaborate closely with design engineering to lead repairability reviews, ensuring technical feasibility and long-term product success.
- Uphold Technical Integrity: Oversee the creation of high-quality technical documentation, ensuring all data is consistent with rigorous engineering policies and procedures.
- Provide Strategic Communication: Deliver clear, impactful progress updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring visibility and alignment.
- Serve as a Key Technical Advisor: Act as the primary domain resource for the organization and our customers, developing and delivering training to elevate the skills of interfacing groups.
- Solve Complex Business Challenges: Synthesize learnings from diverse experiences to provide effective, scalable solutions for critical business problems.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or related engineering field of study from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in, with, and/or supporting a manufacturing, services, repair, or design environment
- Up to 10% travel may be required; comprised of both domestic and some international
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Lean training or equivalent quality training
- Strong mechanical design and analytical background
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes
- Ability and established track record to drive projects to completion
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
