The Quality Specialist will be responsible for executing supplier quality activities for New Projects.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform Supplier Quality activities for New Reactor project activities focusing on supplier approval, supplier qualification and quality control of the procurement activities.
- Work proactively with suppliers to define specific quality requirements, including development of inspection, verification, and qualification processes, in addition to tests and processes to assure products and services meet the quality requirements.
- Work proactively with suppliers to resolve quality concerns, applying technical and quality expertise to deliver project quality requirements.
- Perform supplier surveillances.
- Disposition of supplier non-conforming products
- Write and review technical quality documents, plans and procedures
- Maintain Quality Assurance Programs and procedures, and assure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support future error prevention through the use of the corrective action processes.
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in science or engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering support or working in a nuclear quality assurance related capacity (including Internship/Co-Op in Nuclear Quality Assurance).
Eligibility Requirements
- Hybrid role, must report to the GVH Markham office 3 days a week.

The base pay range for this position is $72,500 - $123,500 CAD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 5% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
