Job Description Summary

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager at the Service Center site in Andoain (Gipuzkoa), the Quality leader is responsible to ensure products, services and processes meet established quality standards. This involves applying quality management systems, conducting audits and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Quality leader will also monitor and improve quality performance of the service center, fostering a culture of excellence working with stakeholders.

Trabajarás estrechamente con equipos multidisciplinares y partes interesadas para fomentar una cultura de prevención, mejora continua y excelencia operativa.

Job Description

Core responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure local quality priorities aligned with Generator Value Stream quality strategy and Service Centre objectives.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by providing proactive support to address customer complaints and issues.
  • Manage and monitor key quality indicators.
  • Maintain data integrity using the applicable software systems.
  • Complete 8D RCA's for any Customer Events & Escapes from the Factory within 90 days.
  • Complete RCI's for any Quality Concerns or where tracking and trending of issues is required.
  • Drive systemic root cause CA/PA's as applicable.
  • Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in Quality Read Across when applicable to share learnings across Value Stream.
  • Oversee QMS deployment and compliance.
  • Prepare, update and control internal quality documentation.
  • Define audit plan and lead execution of the audits.
  • Manage and track findings.
  • Collaborate with other service centers to implement and share best practices.
  • Lead and implement BiQ (Built in Quality).
  • Establish a culture of prevention, Stop Work, and continuous improvement within the service center.

Required Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Experience with preventive quality tools and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, FMEA, Control Plan).
  • Proven expertise in RCA and CAPA.
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing and coaching skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed team environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset.

Additional responsibilities

  • Support customer meetings and witness inspections as required.
  • Ensure quality of qualification and industrialization processes as applicable during all phases.
  • Develop quality training plan and ensure adequate training and skills development of all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review customer reports.

Responsabilidades principales

  • Liderar y garantizar las prioridades locales de calidad alineadas con la estrategia global del área y los objetivos del Centro de Servicio.
  • Aumentar la satisfacción del cliente a través de un soporte proactivo en la gestión de reclamaciones e incidencias.
  • Gestionar y supervisar indicadores clave de calidad.
  • Asegurar la integridad de los datos mediante los sistemas informáticos correspondientes.
  • Completar análisis de causa raíz (8D) ante eventos o desviaciones de calidad en un plazo de 90 días.
  • Realizar RCI (Root Cause Investigation) para preocupaciones de calidad y seguimiento de tendencias.
  • Impulsar acciones correctivas/preventivas sistémicas (CA/PA).
  • Promover e implementar iniciativas de mejora continua.
  • Participar en actividades de Quality Read Across para compartir aprendizajes con otras unidades.
  • Supervisar la implementación y cumplimiento del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad (QMS).
  • Preparar, actualizar y controlar la documentación interna de calidad.
  • Definir el plan de auditorías y liderar su ejecución.
  • Gestionar y hacer seguimiento de los hallazgos detectados.
  • Colaborar con otros centros de servicio para compartir e implementar buenas prácticas.
  • Liderar la implementación de Built in Quality (BiQ).
  • Fomentar una cultura de prevención, mejora continua y derecho a detener el trabajo ante riesgos.

Responsabilidades Adicionales

  • Participar en reuniones con clientes y en inspecciones testigo cuando sea necesario.
  • Asegurar la calidad en procesos de cualificación e industrialización en todas sus fases.
  • Desarrollar un plan de formación en calidad y garantizar el desarrollo de competencias clave en el equipo.
  • Preparar y revisar informes de calidad para clientes.

Perfil Requerido

  • Titulación universitaria en Ingeniería o experiencia práctica equivalente.
  • Dominio del español e inglés (oral y escrito).
  • Experiencia con herramientas de calidad preventiva y sistemas de gestión de calidad (ISO 9001, FMEA, Plan de Control...).
  • Dominio en análisis de causa raíz (RCA) y acciones correctivas/preventivas (CAPA).
  • Habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas.
  • Familiaridad con metodologías Lean y de mejora continua.
  • Capacidad de liderazgo, comunicación, influencia y coaching.
  • Capacidad para desenvolverse eficazmente en entornos matriciales complejos.
  • Fuerte orientación al trabajo en equipo.
