Quality Inspector

Job Description Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve a company's final products and processes to meet established quality standards. This role ensures that products meet both internal and external requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Use measuring tools and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and quality.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste; input data into quality databases.
• Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from standards.
• Work closely with production teams to provide feedback and resolve quality issues.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure final packing of component with final documentations

• Strict follow all the safety procedures and JSA
• Maintain workplace orderly and responsible in disposing excess material
• Follow company policies and site rules
• Understand and comply with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals used braze application
• Segregate and dispose of spent media, contaminated rags, and chemical waste in accordance with environmental procedures and regulations
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, spills, near misses, and incidents.

• Perform work in accordance with specified quality standards and tolerances.
• Inspect work pieces and ensure component are clean prior process
• Report defects, nonconformities, or material issues to the supervisor
• Complete basic production records, checklists, and log sheets as required.

• Check tools before use; ensure they are in good condition and suitable for the job. Perform
  
  basic maintenance and cleaning of PPE and equipment after use.

• Experience working in an aviation MRO is a strong advantage for this position
• Advanced knowledge of measuring tools such as vernier caliper and equipment used in production and/or manufacturing
• Proven experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
• Ability to read technical documents and blueprints.
• Competency with precision measuring instruments and tools.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP or quality management software.
