Quality Coordinator

Job Description Summary
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring Circuit Breaker products meet customer expectations and are free from defects in addition to troubleshooting the rectification of any existing errors or defects. The Quality Coordinator will work with senior technical personnel to help formulate quality and manufacturing procedures as well as conducting training on quality concepts for continuous improvements.
Job Description
- Lead, identify, analyze and implement process improvements with data-driven decisions to enhance quality
- Audit manufacturing process and ensuring findings are addressed properly.
- Meet with production teams to share internal audit process findings and offering recommendations to address process deviations.
- Improve quality performance via Quality Plan implementation or similar tools.
- Support productions teams with disposition for non-conformities.
- Be the contact person and facilitate resolution of problems detected on shopfloor related to supplier quality, engineering and R&D.
- Conduct training on quality concepts.
- Assure manufacturing procedures compliance to requirements through monitoring manufacturing processes.
- Assure Corrective and Preventive Action plans are developed and executed at assigned pilots in compliance with PDCA process.
- Design systems/processes by which production quality can be checked/verified in an ongoing manufacturing process.
- Support Customer Care team with investigation of failures detected at customer site.
- Support the Quality team with deployment to PFMEA and Lean Projects.
Qualifications / Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing role, preferably in manufacturing quality
Desired Characteristics
- Effective problem solving, root-cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change
- Excellent oral communication & report-writing skills
- Understanding of Quality KPIs
- Previous experience with PFMEA deployment is a plus
- Understanding of Leader Standard Work for time management
- Familiar with HV circuit breaker parts/materials requirements is a plus
