Job Description Summary
The Purchasing Scheduler leads the development and execution of purchasing processes for a specified segment within the Materials Management Organization. Purchasing through negotiation, plan development, and execution. As a purchasing scheduler, you will strategically develop and manage a global supply plan for goods and services to geographically diverse locations, while driving a commercial advantage through achievement of quality, delivery, and cost targets. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and effect short-term and long-term business goals.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure timely creation and release of Purchase Orders to support the primary schedule.
- Collaborate with supply partners and Materials Resource Planner to drive fulfillment activities and ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution, including managing scheduling changes and cancelations.
- Keep ERP system up to date and accurate to the current state of supply.
- Apply appropriate Sourcing policies and execute sourcing program initiatives for strategic sourcing team, including management of deflation activities and supply chain risk mitigation.
- Support initiatives, including lead time reduction, New Product Introduction (NPI), payment terms and cash flow improvements.
- Manage projects in a matrix organization globally.
- Act as the primary source of contact for supply partners operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical, Business, Supply Chain
- OR a high school diploma / GED and with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing, materials planning, inventory management or warehouse/distribution centers.
- 3-4 years of experience in in manufacturing, materials planning, inventory management or warehouse/distribution centers.
- 3-4 years of experience working with modern ERP (SAP platform preferred)

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $94,600.00 and $157,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
