The Impact you'll make in this role;
Responsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function.
directly Impacting departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for centralized quality assurance and control activities for any given project or group of projects.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience within the Gas Power business and acquired technical and gas power equipment expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- Apply In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
- Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
- Leverage prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Accountable result drivers and individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Collaborates and Provides informal guidance to new Project team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering with min. 3 years of experience in Power Plant Project and/or Site Quality activities.
- Min 3 years Fundamental knowledge of inspection and testing of power plant equipment
Desired Characteristics
- Power Equipment knowledge strongly preferred.
- Strong Presentation with Business acumen and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve the problems prepared in support of our stakeholders.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills and deliveries preferred.
Other Eligibility
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally per project needs up to 10% of the time.
- This role is offered Hybrid/remote with preferred location Schenectady / Greenville /Atlanta or Houston
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $87,000.00 - 145,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

This position is also eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation of 10%. This posting is expected to close on Nov 12th.
