As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute as project manager to deliver customer equipment, facilities, or infrastructure projects: responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution.
The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
Reporting to the local PM lead, you will be primarily responsible for leading all aspects of Project Management, to manage sales execution from contract award up to the final acceptance of the project and follow through warranty period. Project management includes project execution, Field Services,
Quality and Continuous improvement, Process & Tools, planning, budgeting, control, tracking, installation, maintenance & testing, and commissioning of PT Product / Service Portfolio. In this role, you will manage a diverse workforce in organizations to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, while delivering the forecast commitments.
Essential Responsabilities
- Non-Turnkey Projects or Product/Equipment-Only Projects. Responsible for overseeing the project
and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources for small-medium sized
projects (size in relation to GE company) that may include equipment-only, suites of products or
non-turnkey projects. - Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters
but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has
access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal
sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions. - A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills.
- Leads Periodic Project Management Financial Review process to deliver Sales, GM, oversee Field
Service resource utilizations for efficiency, billings, and timely cash collection. - Ensures that Projects are managed according to the GE defined processes and assist in project
executions for small, medium, and large sized projects. - Leading Project Management Review (PMR) with team and to present for approval at Region
Approval - Drive Customer Quality complaints & Non-conformity of Product with different stakeholders on root
cause analysis and resolution process. - Report/resolve any non-conformances and process in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate EHS and compliance ensuring Zero Deviation
- Ensure full compliance to Statutory EHS regulations.
- To drive Variations Orders & supporting negotiating claims with customer and sub-contractors
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience with Project Management Qualifications.
- Experience in team management and proven ability to lead and manage projects.
- Knowledge of Power Transmission Portfolio such as Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Air
Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Power Transformers and all related services to this equipment is a

Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Dutch, French and English are mandatory. Strong
interpersonal and leadership skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute
programs. Established project management skills. Ability to deliver results under pressure to meet tight
timelines
