Job Description Summary

As related customer equipment, faciliaties or infrastructure projects: responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end order fulfilment/project process from order receipt to final delivery, ensuring adherence to customer commitments.
  • Ensures project implementation as well as work packages and constraints are accurately integrated into project planning scenario.
  • Validate customer orders for accuracy in pricing, configuration, delivery terms, and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order booking, order confirmation, invoicing, and shipment documentation in ERP systems (SAP)
  • Responsible for delivering the customer KPIs (OTD, Quality, SDR) and Organizational KPI's (Sales/Margin/Cash/Inventory).
  • Develop knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute strategy.
  • Develop, Implement and Own Strategy for achieving planned goals.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction through Direct Interaction, dynamic communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Coordinate with sales/Manufacturing/Finance/Transportation/Commissioning Team to deliver Customer commitments.
  • Collaborate with Customers and internal stake holders (Regional Sales Teams/Unit Tendering Team/Manufacturing Teams) to forecast the demand.
  • Evaluate customer orders, review with manufacturing/technical teams for improving the profit margins.
  • Handle customer escalations related to order delays, shortages, or delivery issues with effective root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Inventory management for optimum utilization of stocks to cater immediate/priority requirements while maintaining the agreed margins.
  • Owned end-to-end demand forecasting (monthly, quarterly, and annual), ensuring alignment with sales, operations, and financial targets.
  • Promote GE Products by contacting customers to assess needs and deliver solutions.
  • Comply 100% with GE EHS Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management review and decision-making.
  • Initiate proactive actions to mitigate the risks, identified during communications and protect the Tendered margins.
  • Share ROEs to ITO and OTR team

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Project Management & Project Planning. Knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics from an accredited university or college.
  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
