Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Oversee the planning and implementation of projects at various customer work sites in the US and abroad, including managing the activities of staff and subcontractors.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary stakeholder and customer escalation point for active projects. Manage commissioning activities, resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff as appropriate.
- Leadership & Strategy: Manage a small-to-medium team of senior professionals and other staff. Leverage specialized functional knowledge to influence the development of strategy, control resources, and inform policy formulation.
- Process Improvement: Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stay informed of industry trends to inform departmental work.
- Decision Making: Exercise a high level of judgment to manage complex tasks in operations, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Assess the quality of information provided, ask pertinent questions, and construct well-reasoned recommendations. Offer solutions to problems that fall outside of set parameters, utilizing both internal and external sources to reach decisions.
- Portfolio Management: Lead a functional team and a portfolio of projects characterized by significant resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicate difficult concepts, influence stakeholders, and guide others to consider alternative points of view.
- Digital Customer Success: Lead post-sales initiatives including training, professional services, and technical support. Focus on driving outcome attainment, retention, and expansion through a digital-first lens.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in the relevant project, program or portfolio management.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management.
Desired Characteristics
- Leadership: 5+ years of people-leading experience.
- Technical/Strategic Skills: Portfolio management experience.
- Soft Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems and lead programs/projects.
- Execution: Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs; established project management skills.

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $142,400.00 and $213,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
