Au sein de la branche GSI (Grid Systems Integration) de GE Vernova, nous servons des clients dans le monde entier et comptons plus de 2 200 employés à travers le monde. Nous fournissons des équipements, des systèmes et des services pour fournir de l'énergie de manière fiable et efficace du point de production jusqu'aux consommateurs finaux (compagnies d'électricité et industries) partout dans le monde.

Nous relevons les défis de la transition énergétique en permettant le raccordement sûr et fiable des ressources énergétiques renouvelables et distribuées au réseau, y compris les systèmes HVDC, HVAC, FACTS et les contrats de service. GE Vernova est aujourd'hui à la recherche d'étudiants en génie électrique (de préférence orientés vers l'ingénierie énergétique), qui souhaitent commencer leur carrière sur des projets dynamiques dans la branche d'activités GSI.
GE Vernova vous offre la possibilité de suivre un programme de formation de deux ans, au cours duquel vous pourrez découvrir les éléments clés pour concevoir et réaliser avec succès des projets de sous-stations électriques haute tension.

• Des nouvelles sous-stations de transmission haute tension en courant alternatif (AC) et continu (DC),

• Vous êtes/serez titulaire d'un diplôme d'ingénieur ou de master spécialisé dans le génie électrique à la date de démarrage du programme (Septembre 2026).
• Vous avez un excellent niveau d'anglais, à l'oral comme à l'écrit.

• Bien qu'aucune expérience préalable ne soit requise pour intégrer ce programme, vous devez avoir un vif intérêt pour l'ingénierie et vous vous y projeter à long terme.
• Vous êtes doté(e) d'une curiosité naturelle, vous aimez comprendre comment les choses fonctionnent et comment des grands projets d'investissement démarrent de la définition d'un " besoin " à un projet tangible.
• Vous aimez résoudre des problèmes et vous considérez les défis comme des opportunités.
• Vous faites preuve d'esprit d'équipe, vous avez de bonnes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles.
• Vous savez faire preuve d'initiative, vous avez un haut niveau de flexibilité, de résilience et d'une attitude d'auto-apprentissage.

• Turnkey and Brown-field high-voltage AC and DC substations
• Expansion and reinforcement of substations
• Onshore and offshore platform substations to facilitate windfarm connections and other renewable technologies incl oil and gas electrification.
• Transmission asset replacements
• Network compensation and stability projects
• Energy Storage Projects

• Tender Engineering: Learning how the tender team take the customer's requirement and engineer them into a solution that can be cost and bid.

• Delivery Engineering: Work with all the engineering teams, in the project delivery phase as they start to take the tender design and develop it to the level of detail needed to obtain the client's approval, procure the materials, and create the technical information needed to undertake the construction and commissioning activities.

• Project Management: Understand how the Project Manager coordinates and manages the execution of the project and works closely with all the stakeholders and client to deliver a successful outcome.

• Project Controls: Get an appreciation of the work done by the Project Controls team as they manage the project schedule and control the costs.

• Construction and Commissioning: Spend an extended period working on one or more of our construction sites to learn how our Site Team turn the design into reality. From the initial civil works, through the construction phase, and into the final commissioning of the installation. This rotation of the training provides a practical 'hands-on' approach to learning and has proven success.

• While previous experience is not required, to be successful in this role you should have a strong interest in power and renewable engineering and be looking for this to be your chosen career.

• You will have a natural desire to understand how things work and want to know how large capital projects are taken from a simple 'need case' to becoming a tangible asset. You will enjoy problem solving and see challenges as opportunities.

• You will be a team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills, be a self-starter with a high level of flexibility, resilience and a self-learning attitude.
