The Program Manager - Project Execution Initiatives is responsible for working closely with Operations, Transformation & Initiatives leader in driving disciplined project execution across the Controls Services Engineering organization by establishing clear ownership, execution rigor, and performance visibility at the project and individual engineer level. This role focuses on improving On-Time Delivery (OTD), First Pass Yield (FPY), quality, and cost predictability through structured program governance, accurate schedule and EAC tracking, and data-driven decision making. The Program Manager actively leads cross-functional teams including extended teams, monitors execution against key milestones, identifies and escalates risks, and implements practical process and tool improvements that enable consistent, repeatable project performance. This position leverages strong technical and program leadership to deliver cost-effective excellence while supporting the organization's broader transformation toward higher accountability, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes

Required:
As the Program Manager - Project Execution you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining program schedules and critical control points through collaboration across all functions on major milestones and task completion dates.
- Providing daily engagement, leadership and direction to the various functions within the program teams to ensure an alignment on program goals and deliverables for project success.
- Monitoring program progress closely to update key stakeholders including identification and timely communication of program risks to management teams.
- Influence decision making and problem solving across cross-functional teams to develop an inclusive win-win solution for our customers and the organization.
- Understanding engineering processes with a strong background in turbine and generator control technologies and their impacts on manufacturing, supply chain and project management.
- Implementing continuous improvement for processes impacting the organization by developing and suggesting enhancements while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
- Developing tools to support the engineering team's performance.
- Creating, utilizing, and interpreting data reports to maintain metrics.
- Creating and maintaining Dashboards to provide visualization of team metrics and critical actions.
- Support data activity for Bowlers, SIOP and strategic initiatives related to business growth (Nuclear etc.).
Desired:
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Management from accredited college or University.
- Have Minimum 12+ years of experience managing multiple (>5) projects or (>5) programs simultaneously.
- Have data analysis experience including Smartsheet.
- Travel up to 25% of the time for in-person meetings.
Desired Characteristics:
- Have minimum 3 years of experience in controls and/or turbines.
- Have minimum 10 years of experience in project management or customer-facing roles
- Excellent communication skills, works well in a team environment, appreciates challenges.
- Be flexible, continuous learner, willing to share knowledge and experience.
- Have presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Have organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Be comfortable and effective working in new areas that require rapid problem solving.
- Demonstrate initiative to explore alternate approaches to solving problems.
