Production Quality Engineer

Job Description Summary

Production quality engineer manages the quality within the operation processes. Control activities based on applicable procedures, instructions, and quality plan. Execute risk assessment for operation related to quality. Manage audits (both internal & external) within scope of work. Provide actions regarding any quality issue.

Job Description

• Control the whole operation processes to comply with related quality requirements
• Involve in the calibration plan for M&TE
• Ensure proper collection of quality record data from operation
• Establish and continuously improve the quality system
• Train personnel to enhance operator skills and knowledge, including arrange any required certification
• Monitoring any inspection stages (incoming, in-process, and final) to ensure the compliance to quality requirements
• Participate on EHS compliance
• Conduct internal & external audit according to ISO 9001:2015 and GE procedures, including to do follow up actions as needed
• Liaise with Customer for any external quality issue and provide quick actions as needed
• Initiate any RCA as required to solve problem, track and execute CAPA accordingly
• Initiate any NCR to external suppliers
• Perform risk assessment for operation process (PFMEA) and control accordingly
• Proactive to review any Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) associated with operation processes and lead the improvement proce
• Perform management of change (MOC)
• Engaging in Lean initiatives and AWO (Action Work Out) as part of continuous improvement
• Support to improve proactive quality culture within the facility

• A Bachelor Degree (Master's Degree is a plus) of Engineering (Materials, Industrial, Metallurgy, Mechanical or other related disciplines) from a local or internationally reputable university
• At least 3-years experience on quality function, working in relevant industry is preferred
• Knowledge of Gas Turbine component will be advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and Quality Management System
• At least an intermediate English skill level (Writing, Speaking)
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous (but not essential)
• Willing to stay in Bandung, Indonesia
