The Role

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager - Operations, you will provide technical vision and people leadership across specialized engineering teams. This role bridges technology development and production, ensuring new repair methods are successfully deployed, sustainable and capable of meeting business, quality and operational

What You'll Do

1. Lead and Develop the Engineering Team

Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers and technical specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.

2. Drive Process Industrialization and Qualification

Lead the industrialization, qualification and deployment of new repair technologies, ensuring successful transition from development to production with sustainable and scalable processes.

3. Advance Process Maturity and Operational Excellence

Assess process maturity, establish improvement roadmaps and drive initiatives that enhance process capability, reliability, productivity and overall operational performance.

4. Strengthen Process Control and Compliance

Develop and implement robust process control strategies that improve quality, reduce variation and ensure compliance with approved methods and quality system requirements.

5. Champion Innovation and Future Readiness

Drive adoption of innovative technologies, automation, digitization and advanced manufacturing solutions that improve business performance and position the organization for future growth.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a recognized university is essential
• 7-10 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, repair operations, industrial processes, or special process support, ideally within aviation or MRO is essential
• 2-3 years of people management experience is essential
• Technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an advantage:
  • Automation/metrology
  • Non-destructive Testing
  • Precision Machining
  • Coatings & surface treatment
  • Joining & heat treatment
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving capability

• Lead teams working on critical, technically demanding processes
