Power Communications Leader
Job Description Summary
By becoming a member of GE Vernova's Communications team, you will help build the story and engagement around an exciting public company that is focused on leading the future of energy. You'll work closely with teams from across the world to demonstrate GE Vernova's progress, performance, and path forward in a dynamic environment.
The Power Communications Leader is a senior strategic communications leader responsible for the development and deployment of the communications strategy for the Power Business. This leader will guide and oversee the entire communications portfolio - including strategy and planning, messaging, thought leadership, employee and change communications, media/PR and executive communications. This role will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team of the Power business to help build and advance a world-class communications plan and narrative that can be driven internally and externally.
Job Description
Specific responsibilities include:
Strategy & Leadership
- Provide executive support and strategic counsel to Power CEO and Leadership team.
- In partnership with Power leadership and key stakeholders, define the key communications priorities and create and oversee a multi-stakeholder, multi-channel strategy and plan for internal and external communications.
- Build and lead a high-performing and collaborative Communications team, putting the right talent, structure, planning processes, and governance in place.
Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
- Help build culture of care and reinforce mission, purpose and pride across function and segment.
- Create informative, relevant, and inspiring internal/employee/executive content and assets.
- Develop and enhance communications tools, channels, platforms and events to promote engagement with employees across the business.
External Communications & Reputation
- Partner with the external communications team to actively promote and protect the company in the media (traditional and social), financial community, general public, and other centers of influence.
- Leverage external channels, platforms and events - earned and owned - to drive thought leadership across key themes and priority areas.
- Lead communications on critical organizational projects such as M+A; organizational realignments or restructuring; and other significant developments.
- Provide executives with communications guidance on complex, sensitive and business critical issues, including crisis management topics and scenarios.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven leader who is passionate about GE Vernova's mission and purpose.
- Significant senior communications leadership experience in a large, global, matrixed organization.
- Strong people leadership and team-building experience.
- Strong background in both internal and external communications.
- Experience advising C-suite executives, ideally in industrial, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or other complex B2B environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation and organizational complexity across regions.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge/ experience
- Significant experience in business communications function, preferably in a global, public company.
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $220,000 and $310,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
