Parts Services Specialist

Job Description Summary

Responsable de la facilitation des transactions, de la production, de l'assemblage et de la livraison des pièces et équipements de remplacement/réparation dans le cadre d'un contrat ou d'une commande de services.
Inclut des activités telles que le traitement des transactions, la gestion des processus, la gestion du matériel, les opérations sur site ou la logistique et l'expédition des entrepôts, parfois dans une structure de magasin. Inclut le travail artisanal et non artisanal, ainsi que les rôles de manager responsables uniquement de ces activités. Influence la qualité de son propre travail et du travail des collègues de son équipe. Exécute les tâches opérationnelles/techniques standard généralement soumises à des instructions et à des routines professionnelles. Une certaine latitude est accordée pour réorganiser l'ordre des tâches en fonction de l'évolution des situations professionnelles.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Any service related activity to fulfill replacement and spare parts including transactional services, parts for casting for outages, Hot Gas Parts etc...
  A part is defined as any component (material, single part or sub- assembly) of the "System & Equipment" which is or may be required for the continued operation of the "System & Equipment" during its life time. Includes spare parts management, transactional order fulfillment, including HGP
• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE Vernova. Explains technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

• Basic experience in the Services & Parts Services functional areas.
• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
• Must be fluent in Writing/Speaking/Reading in English

• Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs.
