Job Description Summary
As an Operations Lead within our engineering organization, you will be responsible for advancing the operational framework that allows our engineering teams to scale and execute effectively. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring a blend of analytical rigor to manage risk, strategic foresight to plan long-term capacity, and the hands-on leadership required to modernize our processes and digital toolsets. You will balance project demand with technical capacity while mitigating operational risks. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on process implementation, utilizing data-driven insights to refine our workflows, deploy new operational tools.

Responsibilities :

Operations Strategy & Risk Analytics

  • Advance the daily management tools and processes utilizing AI to contemporize how our leaders consume and process data regarding their team performance.
  • Lead the development of risk analytics frameworks to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and schedule-related risks across the project portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain operational workflows, performing predictive analytics to identify potential project failures, and/or resource gaps, before they impact deliverables.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics, translating data trends into actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Demand & Capacity Planning
  • Identify and drive problem solving of systemic bottlenecks in the engineering lifecycle to improve project throughput and velocity, and timeliness of critical deliverables.


Resource Management
  • Utilize statistical analysis and data mining techniques to identify trends in project performance and resource utilization. Translate these insights into optimized scheduling and capacity management strategies that align with long-term engineering goals.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities through process optimization and advanced resource scheduling.


Process & Tool Implementation
  • Analyze existing workflows and re-engineer them to eliminate waste, improve quality, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Lead implementation of process improvements including requirements definition, stakeholder buy-in and engagement, training, and roll-out.


Required Qualifications :
  • MBA (or equivalent advanced business degree) is required. An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, or a highly quantitative field (Upcoming MBA grads are encouraged to apply).
  • 1-2 years of pre-MBA experience in a quantitative/analytical role (e.g., engineering, consulting, data analysis or equivalent co-op/internship experience).


Eligibility Requirements :
  • Must be comfortable with up to 20% travel.
  • The work schedule for this role can be 4 days onsite and 1 day remote from the Greenville, SC facility.


Preferred Qualifications :
  • 2-4 years of pre-MBA experience in a quantitative/analytical role (e.g., engineering, consulting, or data analysis or equivalent co-op/internship experience).
  • Superior ability to craft a narrative around data. You must be able to present trade-offs to executive stakeholders and secure buy-in for operational shifts.
  • Ability to manage project lifecycles, from initial scoping and data acquisition to final deployment and monitoring.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Technical Proficiency in project management software, resource planning tools, and advanced data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
  • Proficiency in advanced data modeling, risk assessment techniques, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or SQL).

Relocation Assistance Provided: No

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
