GE Vernova is looking for Electrical Commissioning & Services Technicians to join our Offshore Wind team supporting the Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm.

Let's talk about the role
As an Electrical Commissioning & Services Technician, you support commissioning and service activities across wind turbine generator systems and associated electrical equipment. You carry out testing, fault finding, maintenance, and repair, helping ensure turbines operate safely, efficiently, and to a high technical standard offshore.
This role follows a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation. While on shift, you live and work on the vessel, supporting safe, consistent delivery across daily offshore operations.
How you will make a difference
- Carrying out commissioning and service activities on Wind Turbine Generator systems (WTG).
- Testing, fault finding, maintenance, and repair to support reliable turbine operation
- Supporting daily handovers to maintain clear communication and continuity of work
- Following safe systems of work including permits, isolations, and lockout/tagout procedures
- Applying your electrical knowledge to solve technical issues and support safe execution
- Working across teams to help maintain quality, reliability, and operational performance offshore
What you bring
- A recognised electrical qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent vocational training
- Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, commissioning, testing, fault finding, or retrofit work
- Experience on wind turbines or in a similar industrial environment
- Knowledge of LV/MW power distribution systems up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC
- Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting power distribution boards
- Ability to pass GWO (Global Wind Offshore Certification)
- A strong understanding of safe systems of work, permits, isolations, and risk controls
- Clear communication skills and a safety-first mindset
It's beneficial to have Wind Turbine Generator experience in addition to UK electrical and health and safety standards, or exposure to high-voltage systems.
