As Lead Warehouse & Logistics Operations Staff Manager, you will play a key role in the end-to-end material management of the Birr Distribution Center. Operating in a highly manual warehouse environment, you will provide operational leadership, ensure governance and performance excellence, and support the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of warehouse and logistics activities whilst supporting of GE Vernova's operational and customer commitments.

• Own warehouse KPIs, daily performance reporting, inventory accuracy, and cycle count governance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational and WMS improvement opportunities.
• Act as WMS key user, supporting system enhancements, testing, user acceptance, and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, Quality, and operational standards while promoting a safe working environment.
• Support quality management through audits, defect management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain visual management standards and promote operational discipline across the warehouse.
• Identify operational risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities, providing transparency to site leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, contract management, and warehouse performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure material availability and operational excellence.
• Potential responsibility for leading, coaching, and developing a warehouse operations team.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP required, Oracle advantageous).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication skills in English and German.
• Willingness to work hands-on on the shopfloor and provide operational support when required.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and Lean principles.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience in continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix organizations.
• Self-motivated, structured, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
