Lead Sourcing Specialist - Supplier Management

Job Description Summary

The Supplier Transfer Project Leader responsibilities are the development, the communication and the execution of projects planning and implementation to ensure realization of the business objectives for assigned projects under sourcing strategies. This may include global program management responsibility.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage project execution vs. plan, report-out progress (Weekly, Steerco) and escalate risks & issues to the correct level for resolution

• Find EMS/GE owners to complete deliverables & answer questions

• Work with the EMS and GE teams to bring key stakeholders together and identify actions / deliverables required to complete the project and assign ownership / timelines

• Escalation point for EMS & GE

• Resolve EMS ó GE disputes except pricing / PPV (Site Sourcing)

• Own the OPEX budget (CM NRE, IC Testing, Relays for PV / Reliability Testing...etc.)

• Drive EMS PM + EMS Account Mgr. to staff execution team

• Drive GE stakeholders & EMS' PM to be ready for FPQ/PQ/PV production

• Drive EMS to hit Cost + Delivery metrics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

• At least 5 years project management work experience with technical depth/knowledge, or 5 years of Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality or Engineering experience

Desired Characteristics

• MBA or Bachelor's degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering.

• Experience leading projects

• Track record of driving step change in sourcing and/or quality functions

• Collaborative mindset in working across functional areas

• Strong analytical skills (spend analytics, should-cost analysis, market R&I)

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Demonstrated negotiations skills

• Aggressive self-starter with can do attitude

• Strong project management skills

• Experience with RFQ implementation and execution

• Working knowledge of ERP/ SSS systems

• History with supply base consolidation
