This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal customer satisfaction. The position operates with a moderate degree of autonomy and applies analytical thinking to solve complex, day-to-day sourcing challenges
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define, execute, and continuously improve sourcing strategies at the business, plant, or regional level.
- Negotiate with dedicated suppliers in accordance with established policies to achieve optimal commercial and contractual outcomes.
- Lead cost-out initiatives, including alternate source identification and qualification.
- Manage supplier and part qualification processes in collaboration with engineering, quality, and operations teams.
- Analyze supplier markets, competitive dynamics, and differentiators to support informed sourcing decisions.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues; provide guidance and share best practices.
- Drive alignment and consensus across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Communicate performance expectations and address sensitive supplier or internal issues as needed.
- Apply judgment to propose solutions beyond established parameters for complex sourcing challenges.
- Use technical experience, analytical thinking, and data prioritization to support decision-making.
- Leverage multiple internal and limited external data sources to arrive at sound sourcing decisions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing Management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Deep understanding of sourcing concepts, approaches, and methodologies.
- Expertise in global sourcing and market trends.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate across different levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% across sites in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Desired Characteristics
- A Bachelor of Engineering qualification or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- vast expertise in Project Sourcing.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
- Proven project management skills, including planning and execution.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs effectively.
- Experience working in a Lean and/or Agile environment.
- Comfortable influencing across functions and driving change with limited supervision.
