Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Procurement Operations
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and product quality.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with both new and existing suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring performance and compliance.
- Manage CAPEX sourcing, including equipment, tooling, facilities, and infrastructure projects.
- Work with internal teams to align procurement timelines and requirements with project goals.
- Lead the bidding process, contract negotiation, and finalization for capital projects and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support timely and cost-effective sourcing for new product launches.
- Manage RFQ processes, supplier selection, and procurement readiness for production ramp-up.
- Implement and oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs to improve supply continuity and reduce holding costs.
- Analyze supply chain bottlenecks and negotiate improved lead times through forecasting and capacity planning.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, PO management, and contract execution.
- Conduct market research and cost analysis to inform procurement decisions.
- Balance timely material availability with inventory optimization.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement
- Train and mentor team members on procurement best practices and company policies.
- Support supply chain improvement initiatives and sustainability efforts.
- Collaborate on ERP implementations and upgrades, focusing on procurement automation and process standardization.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all procurement activities are in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Prepare and present regular reports on KPIs, including safety, quality, delivery, cost (SQDC), supplier performance, and risk mitigation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Materials, Quality, Finance, and other teams to align sourcing strategies with broader business needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
- Industry-specific experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
