Lead Sourcing & Procurement Specialist - Steam & Gen Repair
Job Description Summary
Act as Lead Sourcing Specialist for Steam and Generator repair, take lead on supplier management for Steam turbine and Generator components repair (3rd party repair). Own supplier strategy management and also project PO execution management including RFQ, Negotiation, PO placement, PO fulfillment and AP resolution.
Partner with Project team, negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure that accurate and complete hypotheses are taken into consideration in order to win profitable projects at tender phase. At execution phase, Lead negotiations directly and manage the PO fulfillment. Manage claims.
- Drive all supplier negotiations, across multiple commodities, to get the best terms for the business, and to achieve the best contractual conditions and payment terms while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
- Work and resolve complex sourcing and supplier performance management issues. Balance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects, and focus on cost-out.
- Partner with the sourcing leader and the global sourcing, in meeting regional and global targets, and setting the right strategies to meet project needs on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost requirement.
- Conduct competitive analysis of vendor products and services to develop and implement should-cost strategies.
- Understand supplier performance management and develops initiatives and strategy to execute on key business needs. Regularly advises management in the function and/or in the business and a key decision maker in regards to sourcing operations.
- Leads complex and multidisciplinary projects to optimize the sourcing operations.
- Lead and drive Kaizen projects on outsourced repair process to improve overall repair process and performance.
- Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Sourcing Management. Special on Project Sourcing field.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Seasoned and deep understanding of concepts, approaches and methodology used.
- Deep expertise on global sourcing and market trends.
- Strong business acumen, and the ability to communicate across different levels in the organization.

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Lean and Kaizen experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $94,600.00 and $157,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
