Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for selling services, parts, solutions, or projects within an assigned geographic area.
- Leverages in-depth knowledge of assigned and adjacent sales territories, product lines, markets, sales processes, and customer segments. Applies analytical thinking and commercial judgment to execute business strategy and policies effectively.
- Demonstrates understanding of industry best practices and how the role integrates with other functions. Maintains awareness of competitors and key differentiators in the marketplace.
- Exercises sound judgment and the ability to propose solutions beyond standard parameters to address moderately complex, day-to-day challenges related to projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Prioritizes information to support decision-making, using technical expertise, analytical skills, and input from multiple internal stakeholders and limited external sources.
- This role is primarily an individual contributor position.
- Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. Serves as a resource for less experienced colleagues and may lead small, low-risk projects with limited resource requirements. Effectively explains information, builds alignment, helps drive consensus within the team, communicates performance expectations, and may address sensitive issues when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Experience in Proposal, Tendering, and/or Sales activities
- Strong customer service mindset with a proven track record in negotiation and deal closure
- Experience managing and updating CRM systems
- Advanced knowledge of English
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to plan, document, market, and execute plans, including defining and implementing negotiation strategies
