Responsible for overall project planning, execution and control to ensure on-time completion and within the approved capex - ACR project & also responsible for Lean & Industrial deployment in the new project

Roles and Responsibilities

• Overall Supervision of civil and installation works for factory building construction and setting up of the new production line.
• Acting as the single point of contact for the operational aspects of all site subcontracts
• Support in documentation activities for obtaining the necessary statutory approvals
• Ensuring implementation of GE Vernova EHS guidelines during construction and installation activities.
• Training of all contractors on the Life Saving Rules Principles.
• Responsible for overall project planning, execution and control to ensure on-time completion and within the approved capex.
• Supporting indirect sourcing with preparation of scope documents, Purchase requisition and necessary follow-up with the vendors
• Co-ordinate with vendors for organizing necessary Factory inspections before dispatch of equipment.
• Co-ordinate with factory EHS, HR, industry and maintenance teams for necessary work permits and approvals for installation of equipment's

• Receipt, inspection and proper storage of all equipment/materials till installation
• Complete on time capitalization of the equipment's.
• Ensure 5S in the construction area
• Preparing and publishing progress reporting on daily basis to Site leader.
• Conduct Kaizen events/3P events along with cross functional teams, whenever required

Required Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering with approximately 10 years of professional experience preferably in green field factory construction projects and manufacturing line implementation

Skills / Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing knowledge and application of right lean tools.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Ability to work in teams
