Lead Lean Engineer
Job Description Summary
Lead Lean Engineer primary responsibility will be to spearhead and facilitate lean initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, minimizing waste, and enhancing operational efficiency at Gebze plant. The position will leverage lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement across the facility.
In this role, you will coach and lead problem-solving activities and continuous improvement workshops, targeting enhancements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will collaborate closely with various departments within the value stream to achieve these objectives.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage lean initiatives across the organization to drive process optimization and efficiency
- Coach cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, waste reduction, and cost savings using lean methodologies. Support the lean roadmap with dedicated actions
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and enhance product quality and reliability
- Provide coaching and training to employees at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement and Lean thinking
- Utilize data-driven approaches and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Lean initiatives, ensuring sustainable results
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, electrical, or mechanical engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in lean management or manufacturing area
- Strong verbal and written skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical and inquisitive thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven inferences
- Strong manufacturing knowledge with deep understanding of shopfloor management
- Willing to work at Gebze plant at least 4 days per week
- Ability to live in Istanbul & Kocaeli

- Results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to build, develop, and motivate high-involvement teams committed to meeting customer and organizational needs
