What impact you'll make?
As a member of Gas Power Global Supply Chain, the Birr Facility Management & Hot Gas Path Baden Lead Analyst is a key finance partner for the Global Supply Chain FP&A Leader. The role holder will work together with different operation teams including Materials Management / Sourcing / Factories / Warehouses as well as other Finance functions (Controllership, Operations Finance, FP&A). Manages the closing and forecasting activities for the area she/he is assigned to and must summarize complex problems for business leaders.

What you'll do

• Oversight over ~$25M of gross production costs (i.e. rent, maintenance, utilities) and ~$3M CAPEX in Birr Facility Management, ~$100M inventory in the HGP Baden Supply Chain unit includes standard cost financials.
• Partners with the Birr Facility Management and HGP Baden Supply Chain Leaders to set specific strategy around Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) focused on driving costs & cash optimization.
• Leads reporting and analytics, both detailed and summarized view of Birr Facility Management and HGP Baden P&L results.
• Leads FP&A activities and rhythms, including planning, pacing, monthly operating reviews (MOR), closing.
• Coordinate key closing activities, ensure timely, accurate and complete results reporting.
• Analyze variances and trends to determine changes in key business metrics vs. expectations and review with leadership team.
• Provide sustainable and insightful analysis and reporting of key business metrics and partner with the Birr Facility Management & Hot Gas Path Baden Operation Leaders to drive appropriate actions.
• Able to identify and effectively communicate financial risks and opportunities and impact on operational KPIs.
• Leverage technology and tools to drive efficiency in work, increasing the level of standard work (i.e. Tableau, Power BI).
• Drive culture of LEAN and standardization initiatives across Global Supply Chain (GSC) deliver high impact financial analytics and control that drive operational accountability.
• Financial audit of fixed asset & material physical inventory and partner to implement remediation plan to improve unit level controls.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, Accounting, Management or related fields.
• Significant FP&A and Supply Chain Finance experience
• Experience in closing, analyzing, and forecasting in a multiple legal entity environment
• Experience with core financial systems and processes (GL, transaction registers, journal entries)
• Fluent English knowledge is essential
• Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written), interacting with multiple levels across the organization
• Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances
• Strong excel and power point skills.

• FP&A budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience is a plus.
• SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
